Hana’s art is deeply inspired by the natural world~ ancient somascapes spanning from the smallest poppy seed to the expansive, roaring ocean. They explore themes around grief, ancestral healing, liberatory world-building, and inter-species relations with more-than-animal kin.

They are currently excited about creating earth altars with found material and intentional offerings. This practice honors the expansiveness of the temporary now, as these earth altars decompose back to the earth and are not archival. They are an alive dialogue with a place, moment, atmosphere, season, and ecosystem. They are an offering to the spirits of a place.
